Becky over at Becky's Carolina Journal has a great post about why she supports Fred Thompson for President in 2008. It echo's my sentiments word for word! I encourage you to check out her post and Fred Thompson's web site.

I just popped in and saw your kind post regarding my blog. Thank you. Let's hope everyone looks closely at Fred. He is the conservative to lead our country.
I read Becky's post and Fred's words and kept thinking that it sounded more libertarian than republican. And then, of course, I had to run into the "traditional family value" section where there is all this posturing about marriage being between a man and a woman, etc...
And I just shook my head, shrugged and got the hell out of there.
I am a working mother of 3 beautiful children, wife and best friend to my HWH. It's only by God's grace that I am here today and only through my faith in Christ as my Savior that I have any hope or sanity! In my "free time" I enjoy reading, movies, and playing with my kids! (Usually my "free time" is spent doing dishes, laundry, scrubing, and cleaning up after my kids!) I love my HWH (hard working husband) now, after 15 years of marriage, more than ever, and I can't get enough of my wonderful kids! (Well, except when they . . . . .)

I think Fred's a great candidate - the most conservative of the whole bunch. I don't, however, think he'll pull out the nomination (unfortunately).
